Established in Manchester, 1999
United Kingdom Education Centre (UKEC) was founded in the UK in 1999 and is the UK's largest localised education agency. Shortly after being established, it attained recognition by 100 public universities and received its accreditation from UCAS and OISC.

As an official organisation dealing with over 100 UK college and university admissions departments as well as a long-term partner with the British Council to promote education in the UK, we send a high volume of exceptional students to top institutions such as Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College London and the London School of Economics (LSE).
Partnership with various elite universities in China
UKEC partners with various 211 & 985 (Elite University leagues) universities including Sichuan University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Southwest University, Northwest University of Politics and Law, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Huaqiao University and many more. We play a key part in bridging ties between UK and Chinese elite education institutions and foster the cultivation of diverse international talent.

Local UKEC offices can be found in almost all of China's major cities, including Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Xi'an, Xiamen, Shanghai, and Suzhou to provide students with accessible application support and language learning services. Our international offices are situated in London, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Cardiff, Coventry, and Leicester, with the latest centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. These strategically-placed centres house our trained consultants who offer a range of services to students, such as transferring schools or progression the next level in their education.

Our History
1999
UKEC established in Manchester, UK by a group of international students with the aim to bridge the information gap for international students who intend to study in the UK. Shortly became the biggest UK education agency.
2003
Excel College, an English language training centre, established as an extension of UKEC's language support services. Concurrently, first branch offices set up in Edinburgh and London.
2004
Local offices in China (Chengdu, Xi'an, Chongqing, Xiamen and Shanghai) as part of UKEC's expansion strategy to increases its global presence, forming gradually the official admissions network for UK universities in China.
2005
UKEC officially partners with Sichuan University for the Sino-British project office.
2007
The British Council commissions UKEC to produce a research report on the UK university market
2008
UKEC and the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics forge a partnership, and opens a branch in Preston, UK in the same year

2009
UKEC awarded the Big Ben Award by the BCYF (British Chinese Youth Federation). In the same year, UKEC set up two Sino-British project offices with Central China Normal University and with Chongqing University respectively. An official partnership with China University of Political Science and Law and Sichuan International Studies University was also established.
2011
UKEC officially partners and set up a Sino-British project office with Huaqiao University, as well as officially partnering with Northwest University of Political Science and Law. A new branch office in Newcastle, UK was also opened.
2012
UKEC marks more than 30,000 successful applications to UK's top universities. In the same year, UKEC officially partners with Northeastern University, and set up a Sino-British project office.
2013
New branch offices opened in London Euston and Cardiff.
2014
UKEC utilises their global resources it has amassed to establish UKEC Immigration. In the same year, UKEC established partnerships with Southwest Jiaotong University and Sichuan Normal University.
2015
UKEC officially partners and set up a Sino-British project office with the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China
2016
UKEC opened the Liverpool branch office and its first office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
2017
In China, UKEC opened the Shanghai branch office, and in the UK two more branch offices are opened in Coventry and Leicester respectively
2018
UKEC opened the Suzhou office in March
